About Us

Act runs weekly drama classes for 5-15yr olds. Professional actress Jane Cameron who is a graduate of The Webber Douglas Drama Academy, has worked extensively in theatre, television and film for over ten years is the founder of Act. Through working with actors and children she has devised a unique programme to explore drama and creativity. Jane's team of Act Teachers is headed by Rebekah Manning. Together they continue to deliver Act's unique brand of drama tutorials to students across South London.

‘Everyone can act, it’s the first thing we do as children - we play, imitate and make-believe.’

act classes will free your imagination and creativity. Through a high energy, fun inclusive environment students build confidence and self esteem.

act classes teach you everyone matters. Tall, short, shy or bold – there is no one else just like you – and it’s what makes you fascinating the minute you step on a stage.

act workshops are lead by professional actors using techniques to teach Acting and Performance. These include theatre games, improvisation, role-play, voice & speech, movement, stagecraft and performance technique.

act workshops welcome everyone, with or without previous drama experience. We are sensitive to each individual students needs and encourage and support all abilities.
